WHAT IS STEEL REPAIR SLEEVE
Steel repair sleeve is an economical, bolt-together fitting consisting of two halves which are designed to allow both temporary and permanent solution for damaged pipelines. The steel repair sleeve’s halves are joined by means of nearly tangential bolting, in such a manner as to produce a high integrity pressure vessel around the affected area of the damaged or leaking pipeline. These are used for multi-purpose; providing for corrosion protection, leakage sealing and for a load transfer of pipeline to the sleeve. And are easy and quick to install on pipelines even when it is at operation, with or without welding to the pipeline. The sleeves can also be welded after installation to provide a permanent repair. It can be completely seal welded with the pipeline in operation.
