The heat shrink repair sleeve is a cylindrical cross-linked polyolefin structure that surrounds the broken cable or pipe. After that, it’s zipped closed with a stainless steel channel and heated to shrink to the pipe’s size. Without shutting down the pipeline, a heat shrink repair sleeve can be utilised to make repairs.
We make heat shrink repair sleeves in a variety of diameters, wall thicknesses, and steel plate grades that meet ASTM standards. Customizing heat shrink repair sleeves to the client’s specifications produces a variety of grades and types.
On pipes operating up to 80°C, the REL-80 system provides high corrosion protection and strong bonding. REL-80 was created with a proprietary glue that stays “open” longer than ordinary adhesives. Bonding to reduced surface energy coatings is also possible with the use of specific surface active agents (such as polypropylene). As a result, for real adhesive wet-out, lower preheat temperatures are required, and superior bonding to PE and FBE surfaces is achieved.
A heat-shrink sleeve is a field-applied corrosion protection coating for pipelines that comes in the shape of a wraparound or tubular sleeve.
Heat Shrink Repair Sleeves are the most frequently used field-girth weld corrosion protection device in the world today because they’re simple to install, provide great protection, and are cost-effective.
A heat-shrink sleeve is also known as a heat-shrinkable sleeve or a shrink sleeve. Half Pipe Sleeve can be found here. Click here for Half Pipe Sleeve.
The heat shrink repair sleeve is a type of cross-linked polyolefin cylindrical structure that envelopes the damaged cable or pipe.

Heat shrink repair sleeve are quick and easy to use for cable sheath repair & jacketing sleeve pipes. They provide maximum protection against mechanical stress. The hotmelt adhesive helps the pipe to attain total environmental sealing and insulation. It is highly resistant to even the harshest environments like UV rays, chemicals, metal corrosion and even fungi. It forms a perfect seal to prevent rust damage by moisture. Hence, these pipes act as a sturdy ,high quality solution for multiple problems.
MATERIALS USED FOR HEAT SHRINK REPAIR SLEEVE
Heat shrink repair sleeve are manufactured as per ASTM specifications and are produced with superior quality carbon steel plates. The pipe is also coated with thermo-sensitive paint which changes color when the heat shrinking process is completed. Moreover, the sleeves can also be made in various custom grades as per the client’s utility.
PRODUCTION OF HEAT SHRINK REPAIR SLEEVE
Heat shrink repair sleeves are produced from the best raw materials gathered from all round the globe .Each pipe sleeve is produced with precision and high quality by the latest technology and highest industry standard machinery. Our production team is an efficient and experienced one with over a decade of knowledge of the field.

CUSTOMISATION OF HEAT SHRINK REPAIR SLEEVE
We customize the heat shrink repair sleeve as per the application & requirement of the user.
Inspection of Heat Shrink Repair Sleeve
Each one of the heat shrink repair sleeves is closely examined and inspected for defects before delivering it to our end users. The shipment is thoroughly checked and verified for quality purposes.
Our quality experts first review the entire shipment of heat shrink repair sleeve before we dispatch them to our clients. Parts that do not meet our strict standards are rejected immediately and not shipped.
SUPERIOR FORCE CURED EPOXY
- Proven method of force curing the liquid epoxy to the steel allows the installer to “pre-inspect” the joint prior to sleeve application
- Force cured epoxy cannot be displaced during the aligning and shrinking stages of the sleeve installation
UNIQUE ADHESIVE TECHNOLOGY
- Allows for lower installation pre-heat temperatures and superior bonding to PE and FBE coatings
- Adhesive has been formulated to bond directly to the main line coating; epoxy is applied to the steel only
FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
- For added fl exibility, the sleeve can be supplied as bulk rolls or pre-cut to the required pipe size
LONG TERM CORROSION PROTECTION
- Provides a protective coating with the structural integrity of a seamless tube, providing excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment and excellent durability against abrasion and chemical attack
SAVES TIME & MONEY
• Lower pre-heat means less time heating
Marking & Shipping
All heat shrink repair sleeve are marked for the size, dimension & grade of the materials used in the manufacture of the heat shrink repair sleeves. Reli Pipe avails the heat shrink repair sleeves all across India and various countries abroad as well. Reli Sleeve avails its products all across India and various countries abroad as well.
Sepcification
The heat shrink repair sleeve are made from thermally stabilised cross linked weather resistant polymeric material. The sleeves are internally coated with Hot Melt Adhesive. The outer surface has thermocromic paint, which changes the colour after reaching the right Heat Shrink Temperature. The materials used are halogen free.
