PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

Pipeline Repair Sleeves are widely used to repair a variety of high or low pressure and high or low-temperature pipeline processes, including oil, water, gas, steam, and chemical processes. Bolts join the halves of the clamp to form a high integrity pressure vessel around the damaged or leaked pipe.

Sealing is provided by molded elastomer seals of the highest consistency, selected for compliance with pipeline fluid & operating temperature. These sleeves may also be welded to turn out after installation to be a permanent seal if conditions justify the additional cost.

Pipeline Repair Sleeve are a key part of our portfolio of items for the safety of pipelines. The clamp product line can be sold individually or in a wide variety of sizes, grades, and configurations as an add-on to larger repair systems.

Pipeline Repair Sleeve add a new dimension to the timely and permanent repair work on your pipeline. They are used to repair high and low pressure and temperature pipelines – offshore and onshore – that carry oil, gas, vapor, chemical processes, and water. Click here for API 5L Pipe Sleeve.

PROPERTIES OF PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

The clamps of the Pipeline Repair Sleeve are thoroughly static-tested hydro to 1.3 times the required working pressure. All Clamps are prepared using a half-inch vent port, depending on the client’s size and needs & specifications. The sleeves are all made in accordance with API specifications. They conform to specifications for consumers & design requirements for the industry. All of our sleeves are easy to install and to wear. They were designed to be easily installed with the most commonly available tools & readily repairable.

MATERIALS USED FOR PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

Pipeline Repair Sleeve clamps are made according to the materials that the customers require. The materials used are of impeccable quality which conform to the specifications of the industry. Pressure classes ANSI 300, 400, 600, 900 & 1500 are added. Form monitoring and stress analysis was carried out using body components that are appropriate for normally corrosive facilities. Only girder rings can be mounted according to the specifications of the clients. Double row sealing design is used in cases where pipeline leakage is very expensive as is the case in pipelines carrying gases.

ASTM A283 GRADES : Grade A , Grade B , Grade C , Grade D.

WELDABLE PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

Both clamps can be properly fitted for welding after deployment (welding technique is available upon request).

Heat insulators (parallel to seals) shield the seals from heat when the sleeves are welded onto the tubing.

PRODUCTION OF PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

All Pipeline Repair Sleeve clamps may be prepared to weld after installation. They are shielded from heat during the welding of the sleeves to the pipe heat insulators running parallel to the seals. We would make such clamps with longer lengths if requested by the customers.

CUSTOMIZATION OF PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE

Pipeline Repair Sleeve are made in accordance with consumer requirements. All the components such as body material i.e. carbon steel / stainless steel, studs & nuts for applications as well as seal materials are of excellent quality and are robust & corresponds to consumer requirements.

MARKING & SHIPPING

Each sleeve is marked with the grade of the steel output, scale, thickness & stack, used. Before shipment, each product is inspected and the products which do not meet our stringent quality are not shipped with standards. Reli Sleeve avails it’s products all across India and various countries abroad as well.

BENEFITS OF PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE
        • May be used when pipelines run out or wall dilution happens
        • These are self-sealing, obtained by screw clamp studs
        • Standard clamps come in single seal arrangement but double seal arrangement can be provided on request

FEATURES OF PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVE
    • Normal clamps are equipped with an elastomeric seal made of Buna-Nitrile or Viton. The sealing load is achieved for these applications by tensioning the clamp studs with bolts (Pipeline Repair Sleeve design)All Clamps are designed with an external pressure test facility, which determines the joint integrity before commissioningDuring installation, twin seal configuration is also available to allow internal testing.Clamps may be supplied for both topside and subsea repair applications.Read More
